What is Humanistic Leadership?
Humanistic Leadership is leading others from a deep understanding of our shared experiences as humans: motivations, needs, and fears. Humanistic Leaders foster authentic connections, build trust and confidence, and empower all to ensure that leadership is a shared experience.

Our Vision
We believe every educational community transforms when people do. Our vision is to build organizations where everyone is empowered, leaders model authenticity, and every environment becomes a place of purpose, belonging, and growth.
This work isn’t about quick fixes or new initiatives. It’s about developing humanistic leaders who foster trust by bringing authenticity, reflection, and flexibility to every decision, inspiring those around them to do the same.
When leadership is shared at every level, change stops being a single effort and becomes a movement.

Who We Are
We are a team of educators who believe leadership is more than a title. We believe all educators need to see themselves as leaders, for their students and for each other.
With experience in the classroom, special education, gifted education, Multi-Lingual Learner programming, building-level administration, district-level administration and state-level leadership, we bring diverse perspectives and a shared conviction that the best leadership begins with authentic and real human connection.
We’re here to stand alongside your team as partners in creating transformative change.
What We Do
We support transformative change through:

Keynote Speaking
Inspire your staff with a message that challenges assumptions and sparks new ways of thinking. Our keynotes are designed to energize, connect, and set the tone for lasting change.

Workshops & Training
Half-day, full-day, and multi-day experiences that go beyond theory and into transformative self-reflection and real-life practice. We help teams explore humanistic leadership in depth and leave with strategies they can apply immediately.

Ongoing Coaching & Support
True transformation takes time. Our coaching offers ongoing guidance, walking alongside educators and administrators as they engage in honest self-reflection and learn to lead in ways that help educators feel genuinely seen, heard, and connected.

Why it Matters
Educational organizations struggle because the systems around them make it hard to stay connected to purpose.
Leaders face burnout.
Teachers feel unseen.
Students sense the disconnection.
Humanistic leadership flips the script by rebuilding how people relate to one another, shifting focus from compliance to motivated transformative change. When people feel supported, motivation grows naturally, and progress becomes inevitable.
Our Growing Reach
We are honored to stand alongside educational organizations that are ready to move from compliance to motivated transformative change. Educators have encouraged us to continue this important work, and as our reach grows, so does our commitment to advancing humanistic leadership in education.
This session was great. I think it is the best I’ve been to.

If more school and district leaders adopted the Humanistic Leadership approaches shared in this session, we would have teachers who are more confident and resilient, students who are happy and successful, and learning communities that have more collective efficacy and community connections.

Rebecca is truly collaborative, working "with" our team rather than imposing solutions, and she consistently listened to understand our unique challenges and needs. She made everyone feel supported, heard, valued, and cared for throughout the process. Her deep understanding of adult learning theory combined with her expertise in leading transformational change, enabled her to guide our staff effectively through complex system improvements.

The facilitation supported us as leaders. We are doing a better job at collaborating as a team, we have streamlined our processes. Everyone is empowered to contribute and I have learned so much through the process.

Real Leaders, Real Impact created a space where our classroom teachers could step into leadership and genuinely be heard. The facilitation empowered everyone at the table—including our newest teachers—to contribute meaningful insights, helping us grow a stronger, more collective sense of leadership.

I find it super valuable when we are able to talk about the actual work. I always feel like I can share my true feelings about things, even if it is not popular or fun to hear.
